High Watermark Flooding at the Ozark Mill March 20, 2020

Heavy rain leads to minor flooding near the Ozark Mill. The Finley River is out of its banks in Ozark. It has led to minor flooding around the Finley River Park. More rain is expected for the area Sunday. This is from a year ago. By ccheadliner.com - May 2, 2019 - Riverside Road and West McCracken Road are both open, as is Finley River Park. Two Ozark streets and a park are partially closed due to flooding. A swelling Finley River covered part of Riverside Road near its intersection with West McCracken Road. Water also filled much of Finley River park following a system of heavy rain that also produced a tornado in Christian County on April 30. As of May 2, Finley River Park is closed to the public because of high water. The flood waters led the Ozark Department of Public Works to close Riverside Road at the intersection of Third Street and West Jackson Street. West McCracken Road is also closed near North Fourth Street, across from the Ozark Mill near the McCracken Road Bridge, also known as the Mill Pond Bridge
