On November 9th of this year, the Large Hadron Collider at CERN will shoot, for the first time, lead bullets at the speed of light against each other in its superconductive, super-fluid cannon attempting to discover the "God particle" or the particle that gives other particles mass (theoretically known as the Higgs boson).
