Ice Bath - With Heart Rate Data for 03-08-2020




I ease myself into an ice bath and focus on nothing but breathing in and out of my nose while my body adjusts to the freezing water. Great for reducing inflammation in the body and helping your muscles recover. Also great as a form of meditation because you can't focus on anything but breathing while you struggle to keep your body under control as the freezing water hits. More about Wim Hof. He has set numerous Guinness World Records for swimming under ice and prolonged full-body contact with ice, and currently still holds the World Record for a barefoot half-marathon on snow and ice.
