Staff Spotlight

Josh Parham, FOG Inspector

Meet Josh Parham, our dedicated FOG Inspector, in his fourth year of service with the City of Ozark. Josh is crucial in inspecting grease and oil traps for our city's food establishments and mechanical shops. His efforts help prevent fats, oils, and grease (FOG) from entering our wastewater treatment plant, significantly impacting environmental and water quality.

Before becoming a FOG Inspector, Josh was integral to the Right of Way Department. His responsibilities included mowing, maintaining street signs, setting up barricades for city events, and caring for cemetery maintenance. His diverse experience has equipped him with a deep understanding of city operations and a commitment to improving our community.

Josh is passionate about educating and engaging with the people of Ozark to foster a better environment. He enjoys having meaningful conversations and helping residents understand the importance of proper FOG management.

Outside of work, Josh loves spending time outdoors, whether it’s camping, fishing, or hiking. Family is a cornerstone of his life; he’s been happily married for 22 years this August, and they have three children together. Josh is excited to welcome his first grandchild in June 2024.

Josh Parham’s dedication, expertise, and passion for his work and community make him an invaluable member of our team. Thank you, Josh, for your unwavering commitment to keeping our city clean and our environment safe. We appreciate all that you do!

Jacqueline Yoos, Communication Specialist

Introducing Jacqueline Yoos, our dedicated Communication Specialist, who has been with the City of Ozark for three years. Jacqueline is the creative force behind all our social media and print graphics, maintaining our social media accounts and handling everything from newsletters and brochures to website updates. Her role involves writing, editing, and designing content to keep the community informed and engaged with everything happening in Ozark.

Jacqueline’s favorite aspect of her job is knowing she’s helping the community. She says, "I work hard every day to keep you informed and engaged with everything going on in Ozark. It’s rewarding to educate Ozark residents about how their city serves them." She also enjoys learning about her coworkers and their contributions to the city, finding it enriching to be part of such a dedicated team.

Outside of work, Jacqueline cherishes time with her family—her husband and two children—on their 14-acre property. They spend a lot of time outdoors, gardening and taking care of their chickens. Jacqueline is also an avid reader and history podcast enthusiast. Traveling to historical locations is a passion of hers, having visited 40 out of 50 states, with a goal to explore all 50.

Jacqueline Yoos’s commitment to excellence, community engagement, and continuous learning makes her an invaluable member of our team. Thank you, Jacqueline, for your hard work and dedication to keeping Ozark residents informed and connected. We look forward to your continued contributions!
