Amish Carpentry in Ozark Missouri Vlog_15

Published on Aug 15, 2014

L
ocated just north of Branson city limits in the Hickory Ridge gated development, this house is absolutely unique in that a crew of the traditional Amish from Seymour, Missouri were completely entrusted with the construction of this home in 2012. In other words, they had input as to the design, materials and layout of the home. This home was built on both trust and good old fashioned hard work, with astounding results! Couple the outstanding Amish craftsmanship with the fact that this house has both foam and geothermal HVAC, this home not only combines the old world with the new world, but keeps the electric bills to less than half of what a normal house of this size would be using traditional HVAC!

A walk through tour of the residence, to compliment "Amish Built Ozarks" which is already posted on YouTube:

2.5 acre estate lot: 5 BDRM, 3.5 BATH, 4.5 car garage, minimum 10 ft ceilings (range 10-22 ft), 6" exterior walls completely foam encapsulated, Geothermal HVAC makes for ultra-efficient and inexpensive electric bills, 3/4 inch white oak floors/slate/travertine upstairs, slate and cork downstairs. 50 yr designer architectural shingles, Viking/Wolf/SubZero kitchen appliances, and solid Douglas Fir timbers throughout. A nicer, higher quality home will not be found in the Branson, Tri-lakes area. This is it!
