Flock Turned On Nationwide Sharing. The Police Didn't Even Know🚨👁️

A police department in Mountain View, California installed thirty license plate reader cameras with strict rules: no federal access, no sharing without a signed agreement. Then an audit revealed what was actually happening. A nationwide search setting had been switched on without the department's knowledge. Federal agencies from Kentucky to Virginia searched the data. A statewide lookup function let more than two hundred fifty California agencies — none of them approved — run an estimated six hundred thousand searches of the city's cameras. And when the city asked for the access logs, the vendor said it didn't keep them. The city says the company turned the setting on. The company says agencies always control their own settings. Both statements cannot be true — and the records that could settle it don't exist. In this video, I walk through what these cameras actually capture, how the sharing network is built, what California's license plate privacy law was supposed to prevent, why the same failure keeps repeating in city after city, and exactly what you can do to find out whether your own town's cameras are configured the way your police department thinks they are. "Stop Cutting Down Flock Cameras!" (Mass Surveillance is Good)

There’s been a wave of freedom loving Americans who want to protect their privacy cutting down flock cameras. We’re told that flock cameras are just for our protection, meant to help catch criminals. In reality, they have you under constant mass surveillance. In this sketch, a company man from flock camera is roaming the streets, yelling at people for wanting to protect their privacy, as he tries to defend the flock cameras from being cut down.

"FLOCK" (a digital surveillance hardware and software manufacturer, is now the premiere supplier of LPR (license plate reader cameras) to United States Law Enforcement. On the one hand, these systems can help prevent, or solve notable crimes, but on the other... they represent a constant invasion of privacy with far reaching ramifications should the government ever decide to begin using the vast network for control of the populace. "Safety" and "security" are complex subjects, often requiring a certain degree of tradeoff, but our position after reviewing the business decisions of FLOCK, is that a proper balance is not being struck. This network marks the rise of something dangerous, as yet another step down the road of authoritarian control.

Big Tech is Being Kind of Dodgy At the Moment

LiDAR Drone – Project PW‑11‑2026 My name is Buddy Huggins, and I have lived in Ozark for twelve years. I began surveying with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at age 17 and later worked in heavy industrial construction, including paper mills and power plants. I am familiar with LiDAR, photogrammetry, and precision mapping equipment. A LiDAR drone is not a simple tool. It requires specialized training, certification, and years of experience to operate correctly. The City’s plan to purchase a $100,000 Carlson Hawkeye UAV in 2028 is not practical for our current staff. No one in Public Works or GIS has the surveying background required to operate, calibrate, or process LiDAR data. Without that expertise, this drone would sit unused, becoming a very expensive piece of equipment that provides no benefit to the community. If the City needs LiDAR or photogrammetry data, the responsible and cost‑effective approach is to rent the equipment or hire a qualified contractor on the specific days it is needed. This avoids unnecessary spending and ensures the data collected is accurate and professionally processed. I respectfully request that the City remove the LiDAR drone from the CIP and replace it with a rental or contract‑service line item. 2. Police Department Headquarters – Project PD‑01‑2026 The proposed new Police Headquarters is listed at a total cost of $18.1 million. Of that amount, only $800,000 is currently funded. This means more than 95% of the project is unfunded. As someone with decades of experience in large‑scale construction, I know that major facilities require a complete financial plan before they are approved. At this time, the City has not presented a funding strategy, cost‑benefit analysis, or long‑term financial impact assessment for this project. Before committing to a 25‑year police headquarters plan, the public deserves a clear explanation of how this project will be financed, how it fits into the City’s long‑term budget, and whether alternative solutions have been considered. I respectfully request that the City pause advancement of this project until a full funding plan is developed and presented to the public. Thank you for your time and attention.
