OZARK, Mo An Ozark woman will be in the national spotlight this week... competing in the new "#TitanGames."

The head to head physical competition starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson premieres Thursday night, January 3rd, on KY3.

Jessica Griffith is an Evangel University graduate and used to be a nurse at Cox in Springfield.

She had a change of heart, wanting to push people towards healthy eating and exercise, rather than pharmaceuticals. Now she does fitness and wellness full time.

Jessica works out at Crossfit 417 in Ozark, and worked hard to prepare for the Titan Games.

Her journey to Titan Games all started with an email.

"I got an email that it was the promo try out for the titan games, here is the application. And I just thought it was a mass email that went out to thousands of people. So I overlooked it." said Griffith. "And then they kept emailing, kept emailing and somehow they got my phone number. I don't remember the course of events. But before I knew it, I was three interviews in, and got a phone call that said you made it through the Skype interviews.
