Red Bull King Of The Air 2019 Kitesurfing Day 1 Full Video

The Red Bull King of the Air contest returns to Cape Town

The 18 contestants now wait for the legendary Cape Doctor to arrive, before facing off in conditions with around 30 knots of wind and the perfect swell to boost some extreme moves.
Last year the coveted trophy was taken home by Kevin Langeree for the second time. This year, the competition has gone up a notch with GKA Kiteboarding ‘Air Games’ World Champion, Carlos Mario making his debut.
He’ll be joined by familiar names including Aaron Hadlow, Ruben Lenten, Lewis Crathern, Jesse Richman, Sam Light, Lasse Walker and Nick Jacobsen, a previous King of the Air champion who missed out on competing last year due to an injury.
Two South Africans who competed last year, Joshua Emmanuel and Ross Dillon Player will be going head to head with these legends for the chance to keep the trophy on home soil. The complete list of riders for 2019 includes:
