The Mill, perched above the historic flood levels, remained unscathed as the Finley River swelled. Our preemptive measures, including the deployment of flood doors and the reinforcement of The Chapel’s facade, proved effective. The waters receded, leaving the Mill’s foundation as steadfast as the community’s spirit. While the aftermath calls for some tidying, it’s a small feat for our dedicated team, who once again safeguarded this cherished landmark.
