Something Strange is Happening in America: The 2025 Awakening

Something Strange is Happening in America: The 2025 Awakening We're only 11 days into 2025...here's everything that's happened.

Escape From LA - The Final Chapter!
The wildfires in Maui, Hawaii, and the Palisades Fire in Los Angeles, California, share striking and concerning similarities, particularly with respect to water supply issues during firefighting efforts. In both instances, the fires were exacerbated by high winds which rapidly spread the flames across vast areas, leading to significant destruction of property, including homes and vehicles. In Maui, the August 2023 Lahaina wildfire was one of the deadliest in U.S. history, with reports indicating that the fire was fueled by a combination of high winds and dry conditions. Similarly, the Palisades Fire, which erupted in early January 2025, was driven by Santa Ana winds reaching up to 100 mph, turning the affluent neighborhood into a scene of devastation overnight.

One of the most alarming parallels between these two disasters is the critical failure of water supply for firefighting. In Lahaina, Maui, firefighters encountered fire hydrants that were running dry, a situation that severely hampered their efforts to combat the blaze. This was attributed to a combination of high demand and possibly mismanaged or insufficient water reserves. In the case of the Palisades Fire, similar issues emerged; by the early hours of January 8, 2025, all fire hydrants in the area had gone dry due to an overwhelming demand on the water system, which was unable to replenish the storage tanks fast enough to maintain pressure. This was despite the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power claiming their tanks were full before the fire started. Both scenarios highlight potential systemic deficiencies in urban water management and infrastructure, particularly under extreme conditions like these wildfires, where the immediate availability of water is crucial for effective firefighting.
