The Real Birth of the Cell Phone – 1946 (Not 1983!)
Most people think the cell phone started with the “brick” in 1983.
Wrong.
The first public mobile telephone service launched in St. Louis on June 17, 1946 — 80-pound boxes bolted under truck dashboards, connecting straight to the regular phone network.
Truckers, construction crews, and fleet bosses were the very first users. This was the real beginning.
I’ve never owned a cell phone or had a contract in my life.
Yet last night I dreamed about these old rigs — huge antennas on Peterbilts, dispatchers yelling across the plains, and that magic moment when a trucker could finally talk to home from the middle of nowhere.
Maybe my Fast-Buddy was showing me how far we’ve come… or reminding me how little we actually need to stay connected when we’re truly awake.
P.S. The Invisible Flash – YOUR Phone Is Scanning Your Face Right NOW 👁️📱⚡
I’ve never owned a cell phone… and this is exactly why. Watch what happens when the lights are low and the phone is on.
Shot & narrated by Buddy Huggins – This isn’t conspiracy. It’s happening to YOU right now. Wake up, friends. ❤️
