Hey everybody, it’s Buddy Huggins here, and I gotta tell you what just went down in the Oval Office this morning – April 18, 2026. This one’s big. Real big.
Picture this: President Donald Trump is sitting at the desk, holding up that signed executive order like a trophy. Standing right behind him is Joe Rogan – yeah, the Joe Rogan – along with RFK Jr., Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, and a handful of other heavy hitters. The room is packed with American flags and that serious Oval Office energy. Trump grabs the pen, signs the paper, and just like that… we’re watching history happen live.
Rogan steps up and tells everybody exactly how this whole thing kicked off. I want to tell everybody how this happened, he says. “I sent President Trump some information. We have a gigantic opiate problem in this country. In 2024, more than 80,000 people died of overdoses. It’s a horrible number. And there’s more than five million people addicted to opiates right now.”
Then he drops the bomb: “With one dose of ibogaine, more than 80% of people are free of that addiction. With two doses, it’s more than 90%.”
Trump’s text reply? “Sounds great. Do you want FDA approval? Let’s do it.” Literally that quick. No endless bureaucracy. No committees dragging their feet for years. Just straight-up action.
So what exactly got signed today?
President Trump just issued the Executive Order: Accelerating Medical Treatments for Serious Mental Illness. It’s laser-focused on psychedelic therapies – especially ibogaine, the powerful compound from the iboga plant that’s been saving lives in clinics overseas for decades but has been locked down here in America.
Here’s what this order actually does:
- Directs the FDA to fast-track reviews and clinical trials for ibogaine and other promising psychedelics.
- Puts $50 million in federal funding toward research – with a big emphasis on helping veterans.
- Opens up the Right to Try Act so eligible patients (especially those with treatment-resistant PTSD, traumatic brain injury, severe depression, and opioid addiction) can access these therapies under medical supervision.
- Tells the FDA and DEA to clear the path for Schedule I handling so doctors and researchers can actually study this stuff without jumping through flaming hoops.
For 56 years we’ve been stuck under the 1970 Controlled Substances Act – the same Nixon-era law that Rogan pointed out was passed to target the civil rights and anti-war movements, not because these substances were proven to “harm people.” That wall just got a massive crack in it today.
Why does this matter so damn much?
We’re losing tens of thousands of Americans every year to overdoses. Veterans are coming home with invisible wounds – PTSD, TBI, suicidal thoughts – that traditional treatments haven’t been able to touch. Ibogaine isn’t some party drug; it’s a one- or two-dose reset button that’s been giving people their lives back when nothing else worked. Veterans in the room today were sharing stories of finally sleeping through the night, kicking opioids cold, and feeling hope again for the first time in years.
This isn’t just another policy memo. This is Trump cutting through the red tape, listening to real people like Rogan and the veteran community, and saying enough is enough. We’re finally putting American lives over outdated 1970s politics.
What does this mean for the future?
It means the first-ever U.S. human trials for ibogaine are now on the fast track. It means more research dollars flowing, more states getting involved, and real hope for millions who’ve been told “sorry, nothing we can do.” It means veterans won’t have to sneak off to Mexico anymore just to get relief. And it means we could be looking at a whole new chapter in mental health and addiction treatment – one where we actually solve problems instead of just managing symptoms.
This is the kind of bold move that changes lives. Lives that matter. American lives.
I don’t know about you, but I’m fired up. After years of watching the system fail people, today felt like a turning point.
What do you think? Is ibogaine the game-changer we’ve been praying for, or are you still skeptical? Drop your thoughts in the comments – I read every single one.
Stay tuned, because I’ll be following this story every step of the way. If this executive order delivers even half of what the early data and veteran testimonials are showing, we’re about to witness something historic.
God bless you, God bless our veterans, and God bless the United States of America.

I embedded a powerful TED Talk from Dr. Nolan Williams, the Stanford neuroscientist who led groundbreaking ibogaine research on veterans with PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and severe depression. Tragically, Dr. Williams passed away by suicide in October 2025 at the age of 43. He was fighting his own battle with the very conditions he was trying so hard to heal in others.
That hits me deep, because I know how tough it can be. I’ve had my own bouts with depression and anxiety over the years. But I’ve learned to fight back with the spoken word — the resurrected power of the “I Am.” I speak healing to every atom, every cell, and every strand of my DNA. I declare that my body is healing itself, that I’m becoming younger, stronger, and healthier in every way. I speak this with the authority and power of Yahshua ben Joseph, knowing that I am able and capable of doing remarkable things.
Leaving this video in feels right. Even though the beginning is a little slow, when Dr. Williams gets into the PTSD and veteran stories, it speeds up and the truth hits hard. His research is still lighting the way today — especially with what just happened in the Oval Office. It’s a reminder that the fight for healing is real, and sometimes the people on the front lines need healing too.
This is why today’s executive order matters so much. It’s opening the door for real research and real access so more people can find the healing they desperately need — whether through ibogaine or the power of faith and spoken words like I’ve used in my own life.
What do you think? Is ibogaine the game-changer we’ve been praying for, or are you still skeptical? Have you ever used the power of “I Am” declarations in your own healing journey? Drop your thoughts in the comments — I read every single one.
Stay tuned, because I’ll be following this story every step of the way…
