Ventura’s Conspiracy Theory Episodes Disappearing from DVRs : Confirmed

Emails sent to Infowars.com and comments posted on Alex Jones’ flagship websites today provide multiple confirmations that episodes of Jesse Ventura’s popular truTV show Conspiracy Theory are disappearing from the DVRs of TiVo, Comcast, DirectTV and AT&T customers.
Shows finding their way to the digital memory hole include the already heavily censored “Police State” episode and shows on the JFK assassination and the worldwide water conspiracy.
“All of the shows that we have recorded on our Direct TV DVR of Jesse Ventura’s
Show season 1 & 2 was removed without mine and my husband’s permission,” an email received on December 27 explains. “We do not have any setting’s on the DVR which would allow or permit the shows to be erased and deleted from our Direct TV Receiver/ Recorder.”
“Alex is right,” a comment on the InfowarMovies states. “I had 7 episodes of Ventura in my directv dvr. All of them marked as keep. The police state episode is gone. I think when they do code updates is when they erase. This is nuts!”
“I have AT&T Uverse and the Fema camp episode has been erased from my DVR,” reports a comment on Paul Joesph Watson’s story this morning about the episode appearing on YouTube.
TiVo has admitted monitoring DVR units. For instance, in 2004, the company said Janet Jackson’s “wardrobe malfunction” during the Super Bowl was the most replayed moment ever measured. “TiVo said it used its technology to measure audience behavior among 20,000 users during the Super Bowl,” CNN reported on February 23, 2004.
On December 2, Infowars.com reported upon a “series of inconsistencies” with the re-airing and promotion for the Police State FEMA camp segment.
“The episode was de-listed from TruTV’s website, bonus clips associated with the episode were removed from the website, its encore airings were canceled and it was not played during the recent Conspiracy Theory marathon,” Infowars.com reported at the time.
On December 17, Ventura went on Alex’s show and confirmed the government and Homeland Security put pressure on Time Warner to pull the show. TruTV is owned by Turner Broadcasting, a subsidiary of Time Warner. Tennessee Rep. Steve Cohen also turned up the heat on TruTV.
“Whatever the full cause of the behind-the-scenes pressure, it is clear that the government does not want audiences discussing FEMA camps and Fusion Centers or looking up H.R. 645, the bill named and read in the episode that authorizes FEMA emergency centers,” we reported on December 3.
“Alex has done all he can to make sure the TruTV series is packed with hard-hitting facts and full of real, substantial issues. Though the show employs the dramatic techniques used throughout TV land, this is not the typical fluff. People had better understand that these are truly groundbreaking shows that are discussing damning evidence that the establishment doesn’t want sinking into the minds of a mainstream audience. Who knows if tonight’s water episode investigating lithium, uranium and fluoride being added to drinking water as a means of population control will itself even air or be replayed after the fact.”
DVR services deleting the episodes in question from the machines of customers represents a new level of corporate meddling at the behest of the establishment in its attempt to shut down the growing truth movement as it methodically exposes on multiple fronts the criminal behavior and corruption at the highest levels of government.
It also reveals how corporations and government are using computer and digital technology to remove media the establishment wants to shuffle off to the memory hole.
Winston Smith, the protagonist of George Orwell’s dystopian novel 1984, used a small chute at the Ministry of Truth leading to an incinerator to disappear documents and other records frowned upon by the state.
In 2011, the process is far easier and more sinister – electronic media only need be deleted to disappear forever.

Jesse Ventura’s Conspiracy Theory Takes On New World Order
SEASON PREMIERE Conspiracy Theory With Jesse Ventura, 10 p.m., TruTV
Jesse tries to find out whether Plum Island is conducting biowarfare experiments. Silly conspiracy theorists, everyone knows we can't locate the real secret military-testing facilities.
Jesse Ventura’s TruTV show Conspiracy Theory got contemporary last night when it covered two of today’s most-debated topics: global warming and Climategate.
Last week, the show announced that it wouldn’t shy from controversy by taking on 9/11 conspiracy theories. (And really, what kind of self-respecting show about conspiracy theories would shy from controversy?) But Ventura had already been on the record as a 9/11 skeptic before the show. With his unique take on global warming, Ventura takes it up a notch.Conspiracy Theory really has to be watched to appreciate its flavor. The show is paced like a 1960s spy movie with most of the transitions taken out. That is, there’s an air of urgency about everything, accentuated by music that’s probably filed under ‘intrigue’ in the TruTV audio library, and the show rapidly jumps from one plot point to the next in a span of minutes. Also, every interview has to be a key point of evidence.
In last night’s show, good guy Al Gore leads to environmentalist Maurice Strong leads to financier Edmund de Rothschild leads to the World Conservation Bank leads to the Euro leads to Climategate, somehow — and that’s all in the last 15 minutes or so. To spice things up, the camera will occasionally cut to a righteously angry Ventura, who will glower into the camera and say something like “Well, if we can’t talk to this Maurice Strong, who the hell can we talk to?”
As such, there’s much too much to recap in last night’s episode, but here’s a summary: (emphases added throughout)
- The basic premise of the episode, via TruTV: “Whether global warming is real or not, some people may be using the issue to earn billions of dollars, start a one-world government and control people’s lives.”
- Even though he acknowledges that Al Gore could make billions from this ‘conspiracy,’ Ventura lets him off the hook over accusations that he’s “trying to control the world.” He’s too public, you see. Ventura: “I know Al Gore, I don’t think he’s out to do that. There’s got to be someone else behind this.”
- Ventura brings his experience in politics to bear: “The one thing I learned in government: if you want to find the answer to a question, follow the money.”
- Eventually, Ventura is led to Maurice Strong, formerly a top UN official and leading environmentalist advocate, now a businessman in China. Ventura’s correspondent in China says that Strong is a “double agent pretending to be an environmentalist.” Ventura: “Not so green. Or if it’s green, it’s the green of money.” We never actually see Strong, though we see his house in China, which is scarily surrounded by barbed wire.
- Edmund de Rothschild is also brought into this, somehow. Strong was his “right-hand man,” and he wanted a one-world bank, and then came the Euro. “Countries began throwing away their own currencies and adopting … the Euro. In each case, the citizens have a little less power.“ (this is read over scary footage of a sheepdog herding sheep)
- Climategate, which happened after the episode was filmed, is shoehorned in: “only a theory? Within days of Jesse’s meeting and his words about Watergate, the global warming conspiracy would explode into a scandal called ‘Climategate’ … [scientists] obscured, massaged, or destroyed inconvenient temperature data. And the evidence showed that they did it for the money. More panic equaled more funding.”
- Ventura’s conclusion: “I’m no scientist. The conspiracy theory here is a scare tactic to control people, make billions, even trillions in profit. Al Gore, you’ve been a real inspiration. But a lot of other people who preach the global warming gospel aren’t out to save the world: they’re out to run it.” Note that he doesn’t rule out the possibility that man-made global warming is real.
Is this Man the Evil Genius Behind the Greatest Hoax of All Times?
Apparently Jesse Ventura has a TV show called “Conspiracy Theory” that I’ve never previously heard of, which recently did an expose on the real powers behind the Global Warming Hoax. While every instinct I have tells me that the show, which has the look and feel of a cheesy tabloid, cannot be taken seriously, Ed Berry and I are in agreement that the conclusions of this show seem solid. Interviews with Lord Monckton and Dr. Richard Lindzen, are featured in the show, which also lends substantial credibility as well.
Its premise, that the entire Global Warming scam is the product of a conspiracy in pursuit of money and power, is not at all outrageous when you stop to consider the fact that world leaders, in cahoots with the UN, have indeed been working hard to sell the public on a totally phony theory, based on a political rather than a scientific agenda. Rather than focusing on just the political side of the issue (their desire to control the entire world through a single world government,) the show also focuses on the financial side of the scam, and follows the money trail back to its roots.
Al Gore it seems, isn’t the only one in this scam who’s in it for the money. After watching the video I did a little research on the central figure, the former UN official who’s currently hiding out in Beijing, Maurice Strong, and found some other links that confirm the video’s conclusions, the first linking Strong to George Soros, and the other to Barack Obama who it seems was involved in the creation of the Chicago Climate Exchange. Isn’t it interesting how much fraud and corruption seems to be able to trace its roots back to Chicago?
I still have doubts about Ventura however. In the video he refers to Gore as a friend of his, and even says, near the beginning that he himself believes in Global Warming. For the moment though, I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt, and assume that he was referring to the fact that the earth has indeed been warming from the end of the Little Ice Age to 2002, rather than the idea that the rise in temperatures was caused by man’s use of fossil fuels.

In the near future Ed will be debating the science of Global Warming with a prominent individual from academia who supports the AGW movement. I’ll post an update on this debate here on NewsReal to let you know when it’s going to begin. It’s going to be interesting, that’s for sure!

The second season of Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura finds the former Navy S.E.A.L., professional wrestler, and Minnesota governor again facing down government malfeasance wherever he sees it. He wears the same black leather jacket over plain black shirt. He again demands access to an off-limits government facility—last season it was the Navy’s HAARP array in Alaska; now it’s the Department of Homeland Security’s Plum Island Animal Disease Center, off the coast of Long Island, New York. Again, he’s denied. Last time, he declared, “An operation run by the U.S. Navy doesn’t shut out a former S.E.A.L unless they’ve got something to hide.” This time: “I used to be a governor. What do they think I am, a ***king terrorist?”
After the recent outbreak of foot and mouth disease in the UK was shown to be the result this virus’s escape from one of two nearby research labs, I thought it was timely to review a book that investigates this same occurrence in the United States. Lab 257: the Disturbing Story of the Government’s Secret Plum Island Germ Laboratory (NYC: William Morrow; 2004) by Michael Christopher Carroll, is the riveting story of an animal disease research lab located on an 840-acre island that is only two miles from Long Island, New York, and Olde Lyme, Connecticut, and a mere 85 miles from Manhattan. This book tells the frightening story about this government lab’s spotted history and also reveals that Plum Island Animal Disease Research Laboratory, which is home to many of the deadliest germs known to man, is about as safe as the average high school biology lab.
African swine fever, Rift Valley fever, anthrax, mad cow disease, foot-and-mouth disease, West Nile virus … this lab is home to all these deadly microbes and more. The reason? One of the primary targets for terrorists is to infect a nation’s livestock with dangerous microbes so they can cause widespread famine and panic. Thus, since the end of World War II, our government has been busily researching the bacteria and viruses that can be used to accomplish this goal. To that end, Plum Island’s two research labs, Lab 101 and Lab 257, were designed and established by two men: William Hagan, a veterinarian and former dean of Cornell University’s veterinary school who developed the first weapons-grade strain of anthrax known as Strain 99; and Erich Traub, a Nazi germ warfare expert who worked for Heinrich Himmler and who was allegedly smuggled into the United States in 1949 to work with the CIA, Army, Navy and the USDA.
Currently overseen by the Department of Homeland Security, Plum Island’s stated purpose was to study animal diseases that could threaten our livestock and to design vaccines against them. But the real purpose of Plum Island is to study dangerous animal diseases with the goal of weaponizing them for use against the livestock in other countries — originally the Soviet Union — while protecting our own livestock from such attacks.
Relying on interviews with current and former employees of the labs and with nearby residents, Carroll does his homework by documenting that Plum Island is an astonishingly insecure facility. The author follows the fortunes of Plum Island from its inception, explores how the labs went from the US Army’s jurisdiction to that of the USDA and then to the Department of Homeland Security, and details how many aspects of the labs’ daily maintenance was later sold to the lowest civilian bidder, thus causing the research program to decline in its standards and level of biosafety. Further, Lab 257 reveals instances of gross negligence in biosecurity and of ailing workers who were denied diagnostic assistance by their employers.
Most interesting and troubling to birdwatchers and other outdoors-y types is the author’s investigation into the unproven but nonetheless highly suspicious connections between Plum Island and the sudden appearance of Dutch duck plague (1967), Lyme disease (1975) and West Nile virus (1999) on the East Coast. All of these disease outbreaks were first documented within a few miles of the labs. Further, as if the appearance of these foreign disease organisms are not incriminating enough, the sudden and inexplicable appearance of the Lone Star Tick in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut should be, because this sedentary tick species was formerly confined to the state of Texas. Despite the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s repeated denials of their work with these organisms at Plum Island, there are documents that reveal otherwise. However, even if the government denials are true, these many coincidences are, in my opinion, just too numerous not to be viewed with great suspicion.
This readable 255-page book is carefully researched and documented, including a separate 30-page section of source notes detailing interviews, news stories and other printed source materials along with the author’s own Freedom of Information Act requests for various documents. The book also has a separate inset section containing 30 black and white images, and also embeds within the text several maps of Plum Island, the Eastern flyways followed by migratory birds, and a blueprint for the first floor of Lab 101.
I do have several criticisms. First, the book lacks a glossary and footnotes, which makes it difficult at times to identify the precise source for some of the information presented in the text. I was also disappointed that, after the big build-up at the end of the book, the author did not write more about the aftermath of Hurricane Bob and the power outage that it caused. How did Plum Island clean up the resulting mess? What was the reaction of upper management to the hurricane? Additionally, why was author denied further access to the island after he had already made six visits — he only mentioned that he was denied access by the government due to reasons of “national security”. And one last thing .. perhaps this is nit-picking on the part of a birdwatcher, but I was really annoyed that the author repeatedly referred to Canada geese as “Canadian” geese. Did he talk with any knowledgeable birders or ornithologists while writing this book? If he had, they would have immediately corrected his usage of that erroneous common name.
Nevertheless, in spite the book’s shortcomings, I think Lab 257 presents an eye-opening look into the very real and ever-present dangers of germ warfare research, of government secrecy, and into the gross arrogance and lack of responsibility enjoyed by many of our politicians and government officials. I think Carroll forms the basis for an important argument that homeland security should begin at home; it is essential that our government spend the money necessary to improve biosecurity in this nation’s research laboratories and that it carefully monitor every vial of dangerous microbes, so we can avoid dangerous epidemics of our own making.
