Branson MO, the Tellin’ Tales Comedy Tour with Joey & Dan will be
making a return to Branson for a full season of dates in 2016 in a brand new location!
The show recently signed a deal to appear at the Baldknobbers’ Theater on the famous
Branson strip during the 2016 season with shows starting March 7th. “We are very excited
about adding The Tellin’ Tales Comedy Show with Joey & Dan to our new lineup of shows
for the 2016 season”, said Brandon Mabe Star of the Baldknobbers Show & Theater
General Manager. The show will run March through December at 2:00pm with 10:00am
shows on select dates.

The show stars former WCW Professional Wrestler and the star of the new television series
“Funny Business”, Joey Thurmond and Nationally known Award Winning comedian Dan
Whitehurst. Dan is a regular at the Comedy Catch, Funny Bones, Looney Bins, Zanies and
Crackers comedy clubs and stars in the new Comedy-Horror movie “Black Holler” to be
released in 2016. Last year the show toured in over 20 states and cities across America
and performed for thousands of fans. “We conceived a show that would feature good,
clean story telling kind of comedy that everyone can enjoy and the audiences have really
got behind it”, said Thurmond. After being honored last season to perform several ‘preshows’
at the Baldknobbers’ Theatre, Joey and Dan were a big hit with Baldknobber
fans. “It just seems like a very good fit for our style of show and our personalities” said
Whitehurst.

The Tellin’ Tales Comedy Tour will feature new aspects in 2016. With more visual
additions and more audience participation including Windell the daredevil chicken! Also,
new is the ticket pricing, “We wanted to offer a fantastic show that would be family friendly,
appeal to children, and be affordable”, said James Holmes the act’s Manager. The show
will continue to tour the United States again in 2016 for select dates. At a time when
Branson is reaching out to familiar and new audiences alike Tellin’ Tales Comedy Tour with
Joey & Dan seems to be exactly on target. “We came to Branson looking for a few show
dates and we not only fell in love with the town and people but, we have found a theater
home with the Mabe’s that make us feel like family”, said Thurmond.
