All hail the new king of shoes! The Nike ZoomX Alphafly Next% is here!
Since the Ineos 159 challenge on October 12th, 2019, the athletics world has been under assault with non-stop shoe controversy. Since Kipchoge's 1:59 marathon, the international running body, World Athletics, has implemented new rules regulating the size and usage of sole thickness and carbon fiber in all running shoes.
Amazingly, the Alphafly shoes fall within the new regulations, which can only mean one thing, we will likely see them everywhere next year! But how did we get here? How did Nike become such a huge player in the running world?
