The willingness to communicate attracts communication, even across and beyond the barriers of time. A father and son get an unexpected opportunity to communicate across time, over the airwaves on an old broadcast radio set.
Even though they are seemingly 30 years apart (1969 and 1999), they join around the World Series and collaborate on a serial murder case that spans the decades. Their strong desire to join fosters unforeseen changes in everyone’s lives. Unexpected obstacles arise, yet with persistence they are led toward a happy reunion of healed relationships. The circle of Atonement undoes the challenges of time and heals perception.

This movie takes a look at the idea of “the script is written.” The script is the past and, the deeper we go into awakening, the more we start to realize that the whole point of forgiveness is to let go of the past. We have to let go of the belief that we can fix, change, rearrange it, or spin it out in a different way. Those are only ego attempts to preserve the past and lock us into it.

Communication has been pushed so far down into the unconscious, that when it comes to the surface of conscious awareness, it can be intense. The ego is strongly tempted to shut it off. It says, “No. Don’t start communicating now.” But the Holy Spirit says, “Oh, yes. We are going to communicate and join and connect so well that the ego is going to dissolve in the face of that light and communication.” Communication is not limited except by belief. The physical aspects of communication, both verbal and nonverbal, are crude. As we go deeper on the spiritual journey, we start to realize what Jesus meant when he said, “All minds are joined.” He meant that communication is all telepathic.

He tries to bend the rules of his seeming personal world to escape the already known outcome of his death. But in order to truly escape death, he eventually has to see that death is the idea of time.

Excerpt: Sometimes work and career can become such an obsession that they become a distraction to loving. When hurt is buried and pushed out of awareness, life can seem like a tragedy that you just want to let end. Tapping into the Akashic records offers one man a chance to forgive his own mistakes with a son he ignored; as he is given the opportunity to review his son’s life and offer the Love that had been held back.
